Day one of the Circuit of Cornwall saw Elsey Davis running 65 miles of stunningly beautiful but tough north coast trail, climbing over 13000ft in 12 hours and 24 minutes. She was joined by family and friends along the way as she traversed from Land’s End to Newquay on the first leg of her 400 miles epic, raising money for Alzheimer’s Research in honour of her mum. Elsey Davis is the first person to have ran the entire perimeter of Cornwall, and all that while raising over £20,000 for Alzheimer’s Research, in honour of her mum. Over 6 days and 8 hours, she covered 384 miles (618km) with 87,644ft (26,746m) of climbing, pushing through rugged trails, hidden paths, and farmland.
