Olivier Giroud is parting ways with Los Angeles FC after one disappointing year with the Major League Soccer club.

Giroud, who was in line to visit Gillette Stadium with LAFC in August, struggled to adapt to the MLS game and usually played as a substitute.

Olivier Giroud, France's all-time top goalscorer, and Los Angeles FC have mutually agreed to part ways, the MLS club announced on Friday. "Olivier has been an exemplary professional during his time at LAFC,
