JAXA相模原キャンパス宇宙科学探査交流棟では、「はやぶさ」、「はやぶさ２」を通して培った技術を生かし、世界初の火星圏からのサンプルリターンを行う火星衛星探査ミッション MMXへの応援メッセージを募集。

5月28日（水）～6月1日（日）までの間、大阪・関西万博 EXPOメッセ「WASSE」で開催された内閣府 「地方創生SDGsフェス」の相模原市（銀河連邦）「宇宙を身近に感じられるまちさがみはら」の出展に協力しました。

木々が芽吹き、風がやわらかに吹いた初夏の日。人と人が言葉を交わし、ロボットと人間が月面で「共に歩く」未来を描いた。宇宙や科学に国境はない。そして、科学と友情があれば、私たちは宇宙のどこまでも、ともに歩いていける。

宇宙航空研究開発機構（jaxa）は、2010年に打ち上げた金星探査機「あかつき」については、2015年の金星周回軌道投入を経て、約14年間に渡り運用を続け、高い科学的成果を挙げてまいりました。
