Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills decided to change it up this summer. For the first time, Allen didn't play a single snap in the preseason. That became official Saturday night as Buffalo wrapped up its three-game preseason slate with a game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While Joe Burrow keeps putting himself in harm's way in hopes of avoiding a slow start to he season, Allen coming off his first MVP award and sixth straight trip to the playoffs, is safely watching his team play from the sideline.

Josh Allen will sit out Saturday's game against the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking the first time in his NFL career that the Buffalo Bills quarterback will not play in the preseason. Bills coach Sean McDermott announced Thursday that Allen would not participate in the preseason finale.
