Minnesota state Sen. John Hoffman has been discharged from the ICU, just over three weeks after he and his wife, Yvette, were shot in their home, a family spokesperson said on Monday.

Police first responded to a call of a shooting at Hoffman's home in Champlin at around 2 a.m. Saturday, Drew Evans, the superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, said in the briefing.
