Mikayla Blakes scored 27 points to lead Team USA to a gold medal by defeating Brazil. The Vanderbilt guard took home FIBA AmeriCup MVP.

Last week, USC women's basketball rising sophomore Kennedy Smith headed to the FIBA AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile with Team USA. The American team, which consisted of some of the top women's college basketball players in the country, squared off against other countries from North and South America.
