The MSD spark-plug wires, coil, and cap and rotor were simple remove-and-replace procedures. After 80,000 miles of service, the stock ignition components had served their purpose.

The MSD multi-angle spark plug boots can be safely bent to a 90-degree angle, but even still, it was impossible to prevent contact with the exhaust on a couple cylinders.

We make sure our ignition is getting power to our cylinders properly by installing a new distributor and external coil from MSD Ignition.
