SI's Albert Breer weighed in on whether the Chicago Bears should have an interest in trading for Cincinnati Bengals' Trey Hendrickson.

During his press conference on Wednesday, Bengals coach Zac Taylor downplayed any defensive concerns, noting that they have been vanilla in the preseason under new defensive coordinator Al Golden ahead of Week 1 in Cleveland. But he also believes there’s reason to take the preseason with a grain of salt.

“I have no doubt the Raiders are the frontrunners," an NFL executive told Carpenter. "Tom Brady and Mark Davis want to win now, and John (Spytek) has no fear when it comes to making bold moves. The kid (Hendrickson is 30), that move is the mentality of Pete Carroll; he’s not afraid of anything that could improve the team.”

Cincinnati Bengals rookie linebacker Demetrius Knight is already set for a huge role in Al Golden's defense, likely taking over for Germaine Pratt in the starting lineup. He's doing everything he can to learn all he can about defense in the NFL.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said "we'll see" when asked about his confidence in Cincinnati and Hendrickson finalizing a deal.
