No Kings protests are happening in Tennessee in response to President Donald Trump's military and birthday parade and speech.

Demonstrators are expected to gather at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of the national No Kings protest movement.

Authorities have arrested and charged a man who allegedly brandished a handgun during the ‘No Kings’ protest in Nashville. The Metro Nashville Police Department said officers were flagged to the area of Jefferson Street and 7th Avenue North just before 12 p.

There are at least 24 protests planned across the state of Tennessee, including several in Middle Tennessee from Clarksville to Pulaski to Murfreesboro and more. Organizers say they expect the largest rally to happen in Nashville.
