The National League manager for the All-Star Game has already ruled out one potential pitcher in Shohei Ohtani.

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Tuesday that Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani could return to the mound on Saturday in Kansas City against the Royals, but he reiterated that "I've got to make sure I keep it open-ended" at the same time.

Shohei Ohtani’s conditioning is been otherworldly, but Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts still appreciates his two-way superstar needs a break. Roberts said he is inclined to move Ohtani out of his customary leadoff spot and further down in the Dodgers lineup on days he pitches.
