Floyd will first be seen in the role — for which Flynn has received three Daytime Emmy nominations — on April 21, 2026

The Peacock soap is bringing aboard Conner Floyd to take over the role previously played by Billy Flynn. Floyd, last seen as Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV on The Young and the Restless, begins work June 23 on the sudser. Given how far ahead DOOL films, however, fans won’t be able to enjoy the new Chad until April of 2026.

The Young & The Restless actor Conner Floyd has swapped Genoa City for Salem, as he joins the cast of Days of Our Lives as the new Chad DiMera.
